For Vietnamese businesses, green accounting is understood as a comprehensive and modem accounting system that meets the sustainable requirements and development goals of businesses and the country. Green accounting helps business owners manage well both business development targets and environmental goals to achieve long-term sustainable development. By analyzing the benefits of green accounting, this study proposes some solutions to facilitate the implementation of green accounting in Vietnamese businesses in the coming time.Ke toán xanh (KTX) trong doanh nghiệp Việt Nam được hiểu là hệ thống kế toán toàn diện, hiện đại phù hợp với yêu cầu, mục tiêu phát triển bền vững của doanh nghiệp và quốc gia hiện nay. Hệ thống kế toán này giúp chủ doanh nghiệp quản lý tốt các mục tiêu phát triển (vì lợi nhuận) và mục tiêu môi trường mà doanh nghiệp phải thực hiện, để hướng tới phát triển bền vững, cả trước mắt và lâu dài. Trong phạm vi bài nghiên cứu, trên cơ sở phân tích những lợi ích của KTX
tác giả đề xuất một số giải pháp phát triển KTX tại các doanh nghiệp Việt Nam trong thời gian tới.
