Nghiên cứu này tập trung làm rõ sự tác động của mạng xã hội đến kỹ năng giao tiếp và ứng xử của sinh viên Trường Đại học Mở Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Phương pháp định lượng với bảng hỏi được sử dụng để khảo sát 500 sinh viên. Kết quả cho thấy, bên cạnh việc tạo thuận lợi cho tương tác và mở rộng quan hệ, mạng xã hội cũng khiến sinh viên gặp khó khăn trong giao tiếp trực tiếp, sử dụng ngôn ngữ thiếu chuẩn mực. Cụ thể, 47,2% ít gặp gỡ bạn bè, người thân hơn
35,8% ngại giao tiếp trực tiếp vì quen chat qua mạng
67,2% dùng "ngôn ngữ mạng" trong giao tiếp
28,9% có lời lẽ thiếu văn hóa khi tranh luận online. Nguyên nhân xuất phát từ sự lạm dụng mạng xã hội, thiếu kỹ năng phân biệt cách ứng xử trên mạng và ngoài đời, cũng như tác động của môi trường mạng cởi mở. đồng thời kiến nghị xây dựng chuẩn mực và kiểm soát nội dung trên không gian mạng.This study clarified the impact of social networks on the communication and behavioral skills of students at Ho Chi Minh City Open University. A quantitative method with a questionnaire was used to survey 500 students. The results showed that, in addition to facilitating interaction and expanding relationships, social networks also cause students to have difficulty with direct communication and use non-standard language. Specifically, 47.2% of surveyed students are less likely to meet friends and relatives
35.8% of surveyed students are afraid of direct communication because they are used to chatting online
67.2% of surveyed students use "online language" in communication
and 28.9% of surveyed students use inappropriate language when arguing online. These issues stem f-rom the abuse of social networks, a lack of skills to distinguish between online and offline behavior, and the impact of an open online environment. The study proposed the need to strengthen education in communication and behavioral skills and improve online culture for students. The study also highlighted the need for building standards and controlling content in cyberspace.
