The on-going armed conflict in the Red Sea reflects contradictions in economic and geopolitical relations around the world. Based on the theory of Marx-Lenin and modem scholars, this study analyzed this armed conflict to understand this problem’s nature. The study’s findings suggest that countries should share a common vision of sustainable development, respecting the history, culture, and religion of people instead of using military measures. In addition, it is necessary for Vietnam to pursue the self-reliance strategy, strengthen institutions, and adopt sustainable development policies for peace, cooperation, and development.Xung đột vũ trang trên Biển Đỏ phản ánh mâu thuẫn trong quan hệ kinh tế - địa chính trị trên thế giới. Nghiên cứu từ lý luận của Marx-Lenin và các học giả hiện đại, để phân tích và hiểu đúng bản chất vấn đề. Trên cơ sở đó, đưa ra khuyến nghị với các quốc gia về tầm nhìn chung là phát triển bền vững, tôn trọng lịch sử, văn hóa, tôn giáo của các dân tộc, chứ không phải biện pháp quân sự. Đồng thời, Việt Nam cần dựa vào các sự tự chủ, hoàn thiện thể chế, chính sách phát triển bền vững và kiên định đường lối độc lập, tự chủ vì hòa bình, hợp tác và phát triển.
