Die Netzbewegung setzt sich ein für Informationsfreiheit, Datenschutz und Netzneutralität, gegen Zensur und Überwachung, kurz: für ein freies Internet. Dabei positionieren sich die Aktivist_innen als Avantgarde der digitalen Gesellschaft. Mit ihrer intersektionalen und hegemonietheoretischen Analyse zeigt die Autorin, wie die Forderungen der Netzbewegung und auch die Akteur_innen selbst gesellschaftlich verortet sind und geht der Frage nach, wie sich soziale Ungleichheit in den politischen Diskurs der digitalen Gesellschaft einschreibt.
