OBJECTIVE: We aimed to investigate the pharmacologic mechanism underlying this traditional remedy. METHOD: We used a freshly produced hot water decoction of RESULT: HWDJS confirmed a significant (P ≤ 0.05) decrease in biochemical markers compared to the intoxicated group: histopathologic differences and antioxidant measures.
