Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a growing global health challenge. As the disease progresses, it can lead to end-stage renal disease, necessitating dialysis or kidney transplantation. However, access to these life-saving treatments is often limited by geographic, financial, and resource constraints, underscoring the importance of public awareness and interest. This study examined global and U.S. search trends related to CKD and dialysis using Google Trends™ data from 2004 to 2024. Public search activity was measured using the Relative Search Interest (RSI) index, which ranges from 0 to 100.
