Neutrophilic asthma is a vexing disease, but mechanistic and therapeutic advancements will require better models of allergy-induced airway neutrophilia. Here, we find that periodic ovalbumin (OVA) inhalation in sensitized mice elicits rapid allergic airway inflammation and pathophysiology mimicking neutrophilic asthma.
