SGLT2i therapy can mitigate critical cardiovascular complications like heart attacks, strokes, mortality rates, and hospitalization duration, as well as delay the necessity for dialysis irrespective of diabetic condition. Evidence supports potential advantages of SGLT2 inhibitors for individuals with renal problems and heart failure, regardless of diabetes status.
