Circular economy alongside green growth contributes to the development of green economy, heading towards the sustainable development goals of each country. In Vietnam, the circular-economy-oriented development has been defined as one of the prioritized economic models to obtain the goals of waste management, efficient use of resources, environmental protection, natural disaster prevention and effective response to climate change in the next development stages of the country. The paper studies the inevitable trend, regarding the roles and impacts of circular economy on the sustainable tourism development in the Red River Delta, including the assessment of the current situation and the proposal of some solutions in applying circular economy approach to sustainable tourism development in the Red River Delta for the time to come.Kinh tế tuần hoàn cùng với tăng trưởng xanh đóng góp để phát triển nền kinh tế xanh, hướng tới mục tiêu phát triển bền vững của mỗi quốc gia. Ở Việt Nam, phát triển kinh tế tuần hoàn được xác định là một trong những mô hình kinh tế ưu tiên để thực hiện định hướng quản lý chất thải, sử dụng hiệu quả tài nguyên, bảo vệ môi trường, phòng chống thiên tai và ứng phó với biến đổi khí hậu trong giai đoạn phát triển tiếp theo của đất nước.
