In recent times, relevant agencies at the central and local levels have closely coordinated, reviewed and resolved death penalty files, managed detention and executed death penalty in accordance with the provisions of law. However, this work still has difficulties and inadequacies that need to be overcome to meet the requirements. This article summarizes and analyzes some obstacles and inadequacies in practice and makes proposals and recommendations related to the execution of death penalty.Thời gian qua, các cơ quan có liên quan ở trung ương và địa phương đã phối hợp chặt chẽ, xem xét, giải quyết hồ sơ án tử hình, quản lý giam giữ và thi hành án tử hình bảo đảm theo quy định của pháp luật. Tuy nhiên, công tác này vẫn còn những khó khăn, bất cập, cần khắc phục để đáp ứng yêu cầu đặt ra. Bài viết tổng hợp, phân tích một số vướng mắc, bất cập trong thực tiễn và đưa ra đề xuất, kiến nghị liên quan đến công tác thi hành án tử hình.
