Describe the current situation of preparing pediatric patients before planned surgery at the Department of Pediatric Surgery - Thai Nguyen National Hospital in 2022. Subjects and methods: Prospective descriptive study was conducted on 158 pediatric patients undergoing planned surgery from March 2022 to August 2022. Results: 67.1% of pediatric patients did not have the surgical site marked, 65.8% of patients did not have the surgical skin bandaged before surgery, and 3.2% of pediatric patients did not have enough pre-operative anesthesia examination sheets, 100% of pediatric patients received enemas, changed clothes, bathed, wore bracelets, were transported by means of transport and were handed over to the operating room, 100% of pediatric patients had their height and weight measured, and were bathed, have all the tests done, have all the examination forms and have all the commitment forms and pre-operative approval. Conclusion: Most of the pre-operative preparation of pediatric patients at the Pediatric Surgery Department is done quite well, however the work of marking the surgical site and preoperative anesthesia examination has not been carried out carefully.Mô tả thực trạng chuẩn bị bệnh nhi trước phẫu thuật có kế hoạch tại khoa Ngoại nhi - Bệnh viện Trung ương Thái Nguyên năm 2022. Đối tượng và phương pháp: Nghiên cứu mô tả tiến cứu tiến hành trên 158 bệnh nhi được phẫu thuật có kế hoạch từ 3/2022 đến 8/2022 Kết quả: Có 67,1% bệnh nhi chưa được đánh dấu vị trí phẫu thuật, 65,8% người bệnh chưa được băng vùng da mổ trước phẫu thuật, có 3,2% bệnh nhi chưa có đủ phiếu khám mê trước mổ, 100% bệnh nhi được thụt tháo phân, thay quần áo, tắm gội, đeo vòng tay, được vận chuyển bằng phương tiện vận chuyển và được bàn giao với phòng mổ, 100% bệnh nhi được đo chiều cao cân nặng, được tắm gội, được làm đầy đủ xét nghiệm, đủ phiếu khám và có đủ phiếu cam kết, duyệt mổ trước phẫu thuật. Kết luận: Hầu hết công tác chuẩn bị bệnh nhi trước mổ tại Khoa Ngoại nhi được thực hiện khá tốt, tuy nhiên công tác đánh dấu vị trí phẫu thuật và khám mê trước mổ chưa được tiến hành kỹ lưỡng.
