This study investigates the factors influencing the work motivation of foreign language lecturers at selected universities in Vietnam. Using a mixed-methods approach, data were collected from 150 lecturers through surveys and interviews. The analysis identifies five primary factors that significantly impact motivation: opportunities for professional development, work environment, salary, job security, and institutional support.
