This article presents a study of active filter simulation using MATLAB/Simulink software for teaching Power Quality. Active filters effectively address various power quality issues, such as harmonic distortion and reactive power compensation. The simulation results illustrate the performance of active filters in improving power factor, reducing harmonics, and ensuring compliance with power quality standards. This educational approach strengthens students’ grasp of fundamental concepts and prepares them for real-world applications in power systems. This article presents a study of active filter simulation using MATLAB/Simulink software for teaching Power Quality.
