Self-study and self-study motivation of students have been of interest to many researchers. However, the organization of self-study guidance and the relationship between students’ self-study motivation and the effectiveness of self-study guidance organization for students have not been widely studied. Students’ self-study motivation is the leverage that helps them overcome difficulties to focus on self-study goals, aiming at self-development. The research indicates that the self-study motivation of students and the effectiveness of self-study guidance organization for students in the Department of Primary Education - Preschool, Tay Bac University are positively correlated and have a positive impact through the regression coefficient.Tự học và động lực tự học của sinh viên đã được nhiều nhà nghiên cứu quan tâm tuy nhiên tổ chức hướng dẫn tự học và mối quan hệ của động lực tự học của sinh viên và hiệu quả tổ chức hướng dẫn tự học cho sinh viên lại chưa được nghiên cứu rộng. Động lực tự học của sinh viên là đòn bẩy giúp sinh viên vượt qua khó khăn để tập trung vào mục tiêu tự học, nhằm phát triển bản thân. Nghiên cứu chỉ ra động lực tự học của sinh viên và hiệu quả tổ chức hướng dẫn tự học cho sinh viên Khoa Tiểu học – Mầm non, Trường Đại học Tây Bắc có tương quan dương và ảnh hưởng tích cực thông qua hệ số hồi quy
