Dịch bệnh viêm đường hô hấp do COVID-19 là dịch bệnh nguy hiểm, gây ra ảnh hưởng nặng nề đến sức khoẻ và nền kinh tế trên toàn thế giới. Trong quá trình cả nước ta chống dịch đã có rất nhiều sinh viên tình nguyện cùng tham gia. Để quá trình chống dịch an toàn và hiệu quả việc trang bị các kỹ năng mềm và kỹ năng chuyên môn cho sinh viên là rất cần thiết. Mục tiêu nghiên cứu: Xác định các kỹ năng mềm và kỹ năng chuyên môn cần thiết của sinh viên khi tham gia phòng chống đại dịch COVID-19. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu cắt ngang mô tả qua 385 sinh viên từng tham gia đội hình chống dịch COVID-19 tại Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ. Sau khi chọn mẫu từ khung mẫu tiến hành thu thập số liệu qua Google form và bộ câu hỏi tự điền, số liệu thu thập được nhập liệu trên Excel 2010 và xử lý bằng phần mềm SPSS. Kết quả: Sinh viên cho rằng kỹ năng giao tiếp là cần thiết chiếm 99,7%, kỹ năng giải quyết vấn đề mới là cần thiết chiếm 97,9% và làm việc nhóm là cần thiết chiếm 99,2%. Tỷ lệ sinh viên đồng ý trong quá trình tình nguyện chống dịch COVID-19 cần có các kỹ năng: mặc và tháo đồ phòng hộ cá nhân 99%, truy vết 97,4%, hỏi bệnh 96,6%, rửa tay thường quy 95,8%, khám sàng lọc 95,3%, phân loại rác thải 94,5%, lấy mẫu dịch tỵ hầu 94%, tiêm chích 91,7%, xử lý sốc sau tiêm 90,4%, bảo quản bệnh phẩm nghi nhiễm 89,9%, ngoáy dịch họng 88,1%, xử lý rác thải 85,7%, thủ thuật 81,8% và thăm khám 73,2%. Kết luận: Kỹ năng mềm và kỹ năng chuyên môn rất cần thiết cho sinh viên trong quá trình tham gia chống dịch.The respiratory disease caused by COVID-19 is a dangerous epidemic, causing severe impacts on health and the economy worldwide. During our country's fight against the epidemic, many students volunteered to participate. In order for the anti-epidemic process to be safe and effective, it is essential to equip students with soft skills and professional skills. Objective: Identify the soft and professional skills required of students when participating in the prevention of the COVID-19 epidemic. Materials and methods: The descriptive cross-sectional study on 385 students who participated in the COVID-19 squad at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. After selecting a sample from the sample box, proceed to collect data via Google form and self-assessed questionnaire, the collected data is entered in Excel 2010 and processed by SPSS software. Results: Students said that communication skills were necessary at 99.7%, new problemsolving skills were necessary at 97.9% and teamwork skills were necessary at 99.2%. The percentage of students who agree in the process of volunteering to fight the COVID-19 epidemic requires skills: putting on and taking off personal protective gear 99%, tracing 97.4%, questioning 96.6%, routine handwashing 95.8%, screening 95.3%, waste sorting 94.5%, pharyngeal fluid sampling 94%, injecting 91.7%, post-injection shock treatment 90.4%, preserving specimens suspected of being infected with pathogens 89.9%, phun khử khuẩn 89.6%, throat swabing 88.1%, waste handling 85.7%, procedure 81.8% and examination 73.2%. Conclusion: Soft skills and professional skills are essential for students in the process of participating in the fight against the epidemic.
