A prospective clinical intervention study, comparing before and after including a control group was conducted on 70 inpatients at the Public Security Hospital of Traditional Medicine aged 38 years or older, regardless of gender or occupation, with a confirmed diagnosis of Sciatica due to degenerative lum bar spine. Results: After 21 days of treatment, the remedy Duong cot HV combining with electroacupuncture reduced pain level according to 1Z4S score (67.7%), improved the nerve root compression degree (88.5%), improved 79,41% in daily living functions according to ODI. The good and fa ir results were 65.7% and 31,4%, respectively
this result tended to be better than the control group. Conclusion: Duong cot HV combined with electroacupuncture showed good results in treating spinal spondylosis-induced sciatica (liver-kidney deficiency combined with wind-cold-dampness type according to traditional medicine).Nghiên cứu can thiệp lâm sàng tiến cứu, so sánh trước sau có nhóm chứng. Bệnh nhân từ 38 tuổi trờ lên, không phân biệt giới tính, nghề nghiệp được chấn đoán xác định đau thân kinh tọa do thoái hóa cột sống thắt lưng, điều trị nội trú tại Bệnh viện Y học cổ truyền Bộ Công an.Kết quả: Sau 21 ngày điều trị, bài thuốc Dưỡng cốt HV kết hợp điện châm giúp giảm điểm đau theo VAS (67,7%), cải thiện mức độ chèn ép rễ thân kinh (88,5%), cởi thiện 79,41% chức năng sinh hoạt hàng ngày theo ODI, kết quả tốt và khá đạt lân lượt là 65,7%, 31,4% và kết quả này xu hướng tốt hơn nhóm đối chứng.Kết luận: Dưỡng cốt HV kết hợp điện châm cho kết quả tốt trong điều trị đau thân kinh tọa do thoái hóa cột sống (thề can thận hư kiêm phong hàn thấp theo y học cổ truyền).
