National Defense and Security Training is one of the general education courses in higher education institutions in Vietnam. The course includes four modules
in which, tactical team is a basic training form with practical-oriented output standards in the fourth module. As one of the required course learning outcomes is that trainees must master the theory before being trained in the next practical stages, lecturers need to apply active teaching methods to effectively convey knowledge.
