Knowledge sharing is an extremely important factor for organizations and businesses, where knowledge is considered an intangible asset. Using a survey sample of employees from import-export companies in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this research investigated how these factors affect employees’ willingness to share knowledge in their daily work interactions. The results reveal that an innovative climate, perceived reciprocal benefits, and information technology have significant positive effects on knowledge-sharing behavior, while personality-based trust was not found to significantly influence knowledge sharing. These findings underscore the importance of fostering an environment that encourages innovation, mutual benefit, and effective use of technology to promote collaborative knowledge sharing. This study offers valuable contributions to both theory and practice by bridging the knowledge gap in the import-export sector and highlighting actionable strategies for enhancing knowledge-sharing behavior among employeesKnowledge sharing is an extremely important factor for organizations and businesses, where knowledge is considered an intangible asset.
