To improve all language skills, vocabulay is a very important and inevitable part of English, so it is important that teachers and students have good techniques in teaching and learning English vocabulary. and achieve success in using English to communicate with others. In this study, the author wants teachers participating in teaching basic English module 1 to be aware of many factors that affect teachers’ progress in mastering English. Among them, there are three main factors that need to be considered: Students lack of background knowledge and world knowledge, low student motivation, especially students’ limited vocabulary. Success in acquiring English is not an innate ability and it can be learned. Once teachers can motivate students to actively participate in English lessons, provide some clear techniques and strategies that are more appropriate and effective in teaching and learning vocabulary and the ability to use English. Use of language skills will improve. Students no longer feel worried about their English. On the contrary, they are more confident and eager to do it and even get good grades.
