Describe palliative care activities for patients with late-stage cancer at Viet Tiep Hospital in 2023. Research subjects and methods: Cross-sectional descriptive study on 90 patients with advanced cancer. The final stage of treatment at the Oncology Department of Viet Tiep Hospital from June to December 2023. Results: The proportion of end-stage cancer patients in need of palliative care is 85.1%. Patients with the highest need for support are psychological/spiritual support (96.7%), financial support (95.0%), medical information support (86.8%), and medical support (86.8%). physical assistance (72.7%). The highest needs response rates were for medical and psychological/spiritual information (86.7% and 82.8%, respectively). The unmet rates were physical problems (17.3%), communication (16.2%), and personal autonomy (14.4%). Conclusion: The rate of providing preventive care activities for end-stage cancer patients in need is still low.Mô tả các hoạt động chăm sóc giảm nhẹ cho người bệnh ung thư giai đoạn cuối tại tại Bệnh viện Việt Tiệp năm 2023. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả cắt ngang trên 121 người bệnh ung thư giai đoạn cuối điều trị tại khoa Ung bướu bệnh viện Việt Tiệp từ tháng 6 đến tháng 12/2023. Kết quả: Tỉ lệ người bệnh ung thư giai đoạn cuối có nhu cầu chăm sóc giảm nhẹ là 85,1%. Người bệnh có nhu cầu hỗ trợ cao cao nhất là hỗ trợ tâm lý/tinh thần (96,7%), hỗ trợ tài chính (95,0%), hỗ trợ thông tin y tế (86,8%), hỗ trợ thể chất (72,7%). Tỉ lệ đáp ứng nhu cầu cao nhất là về thông tin y tế và tâm lý/tinh thần (lần lượt là 86,7% và 82,8%). Tỉ lệ chưa đáp ứng được là các vấn đề về thể chất (17,3%), giao tiếp (16,2%) và tự chủ cá nhân (14,4%). Kết luận: Tỷ lệ cung cấp các hoạt động CSGN cho người bệnh ung thư giai đoạn cuối có nhu cầu còn thấp.
