Khi quyền chuyển đổi giới tính được công nhận và thông qua sẽ kéo theo hàng loạt các vấn đề pháp lý cần được giải quyết cũng như những hệ quả từ việc thừa nhận quyền chuyển đổi giới tính mang lại mà bất kỳ quốc gia nào cho phép chuyển đổi giới tính đều phải cân nhắc. Đối với nhà làm luật, cần cân nhắc, xem xét tất cả vấn đề liên quan để khi thông qua là một văn bản pháp lý hoàn chỉnh nhất về chuyển đổi giới tính. Đối với người chuyển đổi giới tính, cần nhận thức các vấn đề pháp lý và thực tiễn đầy đủ, dự liệu các vấn đề sẽ phải đối mặt trước và sau khi chuyển đổi giới tính.The recognition and passage of the right to gender transition will entail a series of legal issues that need to be addressed, as well as consequences stemming f-rom the acknowledgment of this right that any country allowing gender transition must consider. Lawmakers should consider all related issues to ensure that when this law is enacted, it is the most comprehensive legal document regarding gender transition. For individuals undergoing gender transition, it is essential to understand the full range of legal and practical issues they will encounter, anticipating the challenges they may face before and after the transition.
