Abstract: Several Western scholars have extensively researched the concepts and Navayana Bud- dhism established by Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891 - 1956). Nevertheless, Western reli- gious studies have encompassed a range of diverse and subjective perspectives, often leading to several dimensions and even conflicting interpretations. This article provides a concise over- view of the prevailing perspectives and viewpoints among Western religion studies about B.R. Ambedkar's beliefs and Navayana Buddhism. It is likened to other forms of literature, such as books, articles, and lectures, particularly B.R. Ambedkar's book, The Buddha and Buddhist teachings.
