During his lifetime, President Hồ Chí Minh showed great attention to environmental protection, including the preservation of ecological environments. Applying Hồ Chí Minh's ideology, today, environmental protection is not only addressed f-rom economic, technical, and legal aspects but also f-rom cultural, ethical, and lifestyle perspectives regarding the exploitation and use of natural resources and the preservation of ecological environments. In higher education, to achieve the goal of comprehensive student development to meet the requirements of nation-building and protection, educating students of ecological ethics is of great significance, as ecological ethics is an integral part of morality and social ethics education. It is one of the factors that enhance the humanitarian quality of education, directly contributing to the training of students with both moral and intellectual capabilities, thereby contributing to the development of the country.Sinh thời, Chủ tịch Hồ Chí Minh rất quan tâm đến bảo vệ môi trường, trong đó có bảo vệ môi trường sinh thái. Vận dụng tư tưởng Hồ Chí Minh hiện nay, vấn đề bảo bảo vệ môi trường không chỉ được quan tâm giải quyết trên khía cạnh kinh tế, kỹ thuật, pháp luật mà còn được quan tâm ở các lĩnh vực văn hóa, đạo đức, lối sống của con người trong việc khai thác, sử dụng các nguồn tài nguyên thiên nhiên và bảo vệ môi trường sinh thái. Trong giáo dục đại học, để đạt được mục tiêu giáo dục, đào tạo sinh viên phát triển toàn diện đáp ứng yêu cầu của sự nghiệp xây dựng và bảo vệ Tổ quốc, giáo dục đạo đức sinh thái cho sinh viên có ý nghĩa to lớn, bởi đạo đức sinh thái là một bộ phận hợp thành của đạo đức và giáo dục đạo đức xã hội. Đó là một trong những yếu tố làm tăng chất lượng nhân văn của giáo dục, trực tiếp đào tạo ra những sinh viên có đủ đức và tài, góp phần vào sự phát triển của đất nước.
