However, in the coming time, it is necessary to complete the law in the field of criminal justice, specifically in terms of principles, scope, procedures, in order to continue to effectively carry out this work.Thực tiễn những năm qua cho thấy, hoạt động tương trợ tư pháp về hình sự của Viện kiểm sát nhân dân đã đạt được những kết quả đáng ghi nhận, góp phần giải quyết kịp thời các vụ án hình sự có yếu tố nước ngoài. Tuy nhiên, trong thời gian tới cần hoàn thiện pháp luật trong lĩnh vực tư pháp về hình sự, cụ thể về nguyên tắc, phạm vi, trình tự, thủ tục... nhằm tiếp tục thực hiện hiệu quả công tác này.
