Bài viết đề xuất những vấn đề đặt ra cần giải quyết để thực hiện thành công số hóa và chuyển đổi số, nhằm nâng cao chất lượng quản lý, đào tạo và hội nhập quốc tế của Trường Đại học Thành Đông. Sử dụng phương pháp thu thập tư liệu qua khảo sát thực tế, phỏng vấn và tham khảo tài liệu về thực trạng số hóa và chuyển đổi số trong các trường đại học ở một số quốc gia phát triển như Anh, Hoa Kỳ, Nhật Bản, làm cơ sở so sánh các điều kiện cần để thực hiện thành công chuyển đổi số tại các trường đại học đó với các điều kiên tương tự hiện đang có ở Đại học Thành Đông. Tác giả đề xuất các giải pháp cấp thiết để thực hiện thành công Chương trình số hóa và chuyển đổi số của Nhà trường như: Có chính sách thu hút nhân lực giỏi & tăng cường đào tạo nhân lực công nghệ số
Có chương trình tuyên truyền, đào tạo, hướng dẫn cán bộ, giảng viên, sinh viên tiếp cận và ứng dụng chuyển đổi số
Đầu tư kinh phí, xây dựng cơ sở vật chất và đào tạo nhân lực quản lý, vận hành thư viện số.v.v...The article proposes issues that need to be addressed to successfully implement digitization and digital transformation, aiming to improve the quality of management, training, and international integration of Thanh Dong University. Using methods of data collection through surveys, interviews, and reviewing literature on the status of digitization and digital transformation in universities in some developed countries such as the UK, USA, Japan, it serves as a basis for comparing the necessary conditions for successful digital transformation at these universities with the similar conditions currently at Thanh Dong University. The author proposes urgent solutions to successfully implement the School's digitization and digital transformation program, such as: Having policies to attract talented personnel & enhance the training of digital technology personnel
Having programs to promote, train, and guide staff, lecturers, and students to access and apply digital transformation
Investing in funds, building infrastructure, and training personnel to manage and operate digital libraries, etc.
