Lawyers play an important role in the legal system, as advocates, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of individuals, agencies, organizations and as legal representatives for parties in cases. Lawyers’ professional ethics play an important role in ensuring justice, protecting the rights and interests ofpeople, society and the country. To meet high requirements for professional ethics, the Vietnam Bar Federation has developed the Code of Ethics and Professional Conductfor Vietnamese Lawyers to guide and control the activities of lawyers. This article analyzes the current situation of violations ofprofessional ethics by lawyers and proposes some solutions to overcome this situation in lawyers ’professional activities.Luật sư đóng vai trò quan trọng trong hệ thống pháp luật, là người bào chữa, bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích hợp pháp của cá nhân, cơ quan, tổ chức và là người đại diện pháp lý cho các bên trong các vụ việc. Đạo đức nghề nghiệp của luật sư đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc đảm bảo công lý, bảo vệ quyền và lợi ích của người dân, xã hội và quốc gia. Để đáp ứng yêu cầu cao về đạo đức nghề nghiệp, Liên đoàn Luật sư Việt Nam đã xây dựng Bộ Quy tắc Đạo đức và ủng xử nghề nghiệp luật sư Việt Nam đê hướng dẫn và kiểm soát hoạt động của luật sư. Bài viết phân tích thực trạng vi phạm đạo đức nghề nghiệp của luật sư và đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm khắc phục tình trạng này trong hoạt động nghề nghiệp của luật sư.
