Class action lawsuits are a special legal mechanism in civil litigation that is commonly applied in the United Kingdom (UK). This paper examined the UK’s legal regulations on class action lawsuits and evaluated the advantages and limitations of this lawsuit mechanism. Based on the paper’s findings, some comments and suggestions were made to improve Vietnam's regulations on collective lawsuits. For example, Vietnam should choose an opt-in model, develop regulations on the role of representatives in class action lawsuits, supplement regulations on burden of proof in class action lawsuits and litigation costs, etc.Kiện tập thể (KTT) là một cơ chế pháp lý đặc biệt trong tố tụng dân sự đang được áp dụng phổ biến ở Vương quốc Anh. Bài viết nghiên cứu các quy định pháp luật của Anh về KTT, đồng thời đánh giá những ưu điểm và hạn chế của cơ chế kiện này. Từ đó, đưa ra một số nhận định và đề xuất nhằm hoàn thiện pháp luật Việt Nam về kiện tập thể, như: Việt Nam nên lựa chọn mô hình kiện chọn tham gia
xây dựng quy định về vai trò đại diện trong vụ KTT
bổ sung các quy định về nghĩa vụ chứng minh trong vụ KTT, chi phí kiện tụng,...
