The CRADA consists of four tasks: 1. High Resolution/Mesoscale modeling: developing and testing a mesoscale forecasting system for Nysted 2. Large eddy simulations (LES) to develop and parameterize wake effects over a large windfarm as implemented in the mesoscale model 3. Uncertainty quantification using ensemble modeling, to be implemented in the mesoscale model 4. Estimation of global climate change impacts on wind resources in the area of the Champion wind farm, West Texas.
