Functional Analysis and Genetic Manipulation of Plant ABCB Organic Ion Transporters- The project explores how ABC transporters export hydrophobic aromatics, identifies structural characteristics that regulate lateral positioning, and uses nanodisc technology to create platforms for structural studies of ABC plasma membrane transport proteins.
