In collaboration with Visolis, ABPDU researchers have demonstrated a viable path for conversion of cellulosic feedstocks into renewable precursors for commodity fuels and chemicals. This process was demonstrated with equal success for both glucose and xylose conversion. Following proof of concept in 2L bioreactors, the process was scaled and demonstrated in a 50L bioreactor.
