The Alliance for Green Heat hosted the 2018 Wood Stove Design Challenge on the National Mall in Washington DC from Friday, Nov. 9 ? Tuesday, November 13. The Design Challenge is a technology competition designed to foster R&D of innovative, next generation wood and pellet stove designs. In 2018, the Challenge focused on two technology goals: automating the wood stove and making electricity from wood or pellet stoves.
