The purpose of this project is to recreate a critical mass study comparing homogeneous and heterogeneous systems using a conservative modeling approach to expand upon historical experimental data. This project will help Nuclear Criticality Safety (NCS) engineers determine if modeling a heterogeneous system comprised of uranium and water ashomogeneously mixed at a comparable density is a conservative method.
