Abstract: According to the spirit of the 12th National Congress of the Party in January 2021 and the National Cultural Conference in November 2021, the four core value systems currently being developed in Vietnam are the National Value System, the Cultural Value System, the Family Value System, and the System of Standard Values of Vietnamese man. The comprehensive development of man, with the family as the healthy cell of society, is certainly a permanent requirement for development, regardless of the direction in which society progresses. Therefore, human standards need to be established as a legal and ethical framework with distinctive features but aligned with universal human values. Additionally, the family value system needs to be established as the focal point for defining the behavior and activities of each man. In relation to the Vietnamese family value system, the highest requirement that should be reflected in human standards is to preserve valuable traditional values while embracing modern concepts of truth, goodness, and beauty.
