Abstract: Project-based learning promises to prepare students for a successful future, both professionally and personally. Numerous studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of project-based learning in higher education. However, initiating the process may face several challenges. To assist educators in effectively implementing the project-based learning model and ensuring active student engagement, this research designs a process for implementing project-based learning at the university level consisting of three stages: project preparation, project execution, and project assessment. At each stage, the paper outlines the activities for both instructors and students and provides recommendations for the optimal execution of these activities. Keywords: Project-based learning, Higher education, Learning project, Teaching plan.
