Huyện đảo Trường Sa (tỉnh Khánh Hòa) nằm giữa Biển Đông có vị trí đặc biệt quan trọng trong chiến lược phát triển bền vững kinh tế biển, bảo đảm quốc phòng, an ninh, bảo vệ chủ quyền, lợi ích quốc gia trên biển. Trong quá trình đổi mới và hội nhập quốc tế, Đảng, Nhà nước Việt Nam đã ban hành Nghị quyết về Chiến lược biển Việt Nam, thể hiện tầm nhìn và định hướng mục tiêu xây dựng Việt Nam trở thành quốc gia biển giàu mạnh, hùng cường vào giữa thế kỷ XXI. Bài viết góp phần làm rõ nhận thức, tầm nhìn chiến lược của Đảng, Nhà nước Việt Nam về phát triển huyện đảo Trường Sa và đề xuất một số nhiệm vụ, giải pháp chủ yếu nhằm xây dựng huyện đảo Trường Sa trở thành trung tâm kinh tế, văn hóa, xã hội trên biển của cả nước. The Spratly Islands District (Khanh Hoa Province) located in the South China Sea holds a significant importance in the strategy for sustainable maritime economic development, national defense, security, and sovereignty protection. As a part of its reform and global integration process, the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam have issued resolutions on Vietnam's maritime strategy, reflecting a vision to transform Vietnam into a powerful maritime nation by the mid-21st century. This article clarifies the strategic vision of the Vietnam Party and State regarding the development of the Spratly Islands District and proposes some key missions and solutions to establish it as a national center for maritime economy, culture, and society.
