In this paper, we have investigated the application of luminescent complex Eu(III)-OTC foridentification of ATP (adenosine disodium triphosphate) in water. The Eu(III)-OTC complex isprepared by the mixing of Eu3+ ion and OTC ligand (oxytetracycline) with a 1:1 molar ratio. Theluminescent intensity of the complex is at em = 616 nm, which is used for quantification of ATP. Theluminescent intensity dereases with ATP concentration according to the Stern-Volmer equation with thelinearity over range of 5,010-7 2,510-6M (coefficient correlation R2 = 0.9925) and LOD of 9,610-8M.
