Hydroxyl apatite (HA) is a porous structure substance and having high adsorption capacity, so it iswidely used in biomedicine. N-doped TiO2 is a photocatalytic activity and this material is capable ofworking in visible light. The combination of HA and N -TiO2 has created HA/N-TiO2 material that isboth adsorbent and redox. The structural characteristics of the material are determined by XRD. The morphology, properties ofpores as well as the composition of elements were confirmed by SEM, BET and EDS, respectively.Identify functional groups of samples by FTIR as well as evaluating the shifting light region by UV-Visspectrum.N - TiO2 synthesized at the ratio of N: TiO2 = 1: 1 is used as a substrate for HA. N-TiO2 has a rodcrystal structure, about 5 nm × 10 nm in size, length of 10 - 500nm. Ca/P ratio of 1.7, is the best valuefor HA formation on the surface of N-TiO2. Comparing TiO2 -P25 with HA/TiO2-P25 material showedthat HA/TiO2-P25 has better photocatalytic activity. Therefore, HA/N-TiO2 material has great prospects in the application of treating pollutants in theenvironment. Keywords: HA, HA/N-TiO2, TiO2-P25, N-TiO2
