Việt Nam là một quốc gia có nguồn tài nguyên khoáng sản đa dạng và phong phú. Bởi vậy, việc quản lý nguồn tài nguyên khoáng sản là rất quan trọng. Ngày nay, sự phát triển mạnh mẽ của các nền tảng WebGIS mã nguồn mở đã hỗ trợ các nhà phát triển phần mềm trong quá trình xây dựng các ứng dụng quản lý tài nguyên khoáng sản một cách linh hoạt, hợp lý và tiết kiệm chi phí. Trong nghiên cứu này, nhóm tác giả sẽ giới thiệu mô hình quản lý tài nguyên khoáng sản dựa trên các nền tảng WebGIS mã nguồn mở. Kết quả nghiên cứu này đã được thử nghiệm trong việc phát triển ứng dụng WebGIS quản lý tài nguyên khoáng sản khu vực Qùy Hợp - Nghệ AnVietnam has diverse and abundant mineral resources.
