Sự cố môi trường biển Formosa năm 2016 đã gây thiệt hại nặng nề về kinh tế, xã hội của bốn tỉnh miền Trung Việt Nam, trong đó có Quảng Trị. Qua kết quả điều tra, khảo sát thực trạng sinh kế của người dân trước và sau khi xảy ra sự cố môi trường biển này tại xã Triệu An, huyện Triệu Phong và tại thị trấn Cửa Việt, huyện Gio Linh tỉnh Quảng Trị, bài viết tìm hiểu các vấn đề: (ii) đời sống của người dân trước và sau sự cố môi trường biển
(ii) tác động của tiền bồi thường, hỗ trợ cho sự cố môi trường biển đến đời sống của người dân. Trên cơ sở đó đưa ra một số nhận xét và kiến nghị giúp nâng cao hiệu quả công tác hỗ trợ và đền bù trong các sự cố môi trường tương tự.The marine environmental incident of Forrmosa in 2016 has caused servere social and economic damage to four provinces in Central Vietnam, including Quang Tri. Through the results of the investigation and survey of the status of people's livelihood before and after this marine environmental incident occurred in Trieu An commune, Trieu Phong district and in Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province, the article presents issues such as: (1) People's life before and after marine environmental incident
(2) The impact of compensation, support for marine environmental incidents on the lives of people. On that basis, the article provides some comments and recommendations to help improve the effectiveness of the assistance and compensation for similar environmental incidents.
