Environmental pollution is an urgent global issue, with the attention of all nations and peoples. In Vietnam today, environmental pollution has also become a difficult problem for sustainable development. One of the solutions to this problem is to influence the perception of individuals. Therefore, education on environmental protection awareness becomes a vital issue - protecting our lives. The political theory subjects are subjects aimed at providing learners with revolutionary and scientific worldviews and methodologies, from which they apply to real life. Therefore, the education on environmental protection awareness through teaching and learning the subjects of political theory has an important and direct meaning to the education, propaganda and awareness raising of learners about the environment, protecting the living environment. This article is to give some basic concepts, assess the status of integrating education on environmental protection awareness in subjects of political theory in the National University of Art Eduacation thereby offering some solutions to integrate education on environmental protection awareness in teaching the subjects of political theory at the National University of Art Eduacation.Ô nhiễm môi trường là vấn đề cấp bách mang tính toàn cầu, được sự quan tâm của mọi quốc gia, dân tộc. Ở Việt Nam hiện nay, ô nhiễm môi trường cũng đã trở thành bài toán khó cho sự phát triển bền vững. Một trong những giải pháp cho vấn đề này là việc tác động vào nhận thức của mỗi cá nhân. Do đó, giáo dục ý thức bảo vệ môi trường (GDYT BVMT) trở thành vấn đề mang ý nghĩa sống còn – bảo vệ sự sống cho chúng ta. Các môn Lý luận chính trị (LLCT) là những môn học nhằm cung cấp cho người học thế giới quan và phương pháp luận cách mạng và khoa học, từ đó vận dụng vào thực tiễn cuộc sống. Do đó, việc GDYT BVMT thông qua việc dạy và học các môn Lý luận chính trị có ý nghĩa quan trọng và trực tiếp đến việc giáo dục, tuyên truyền, nâng cao nhận thức của người học về môi trường, bảo vệ môi trường sống. Bài viết đưa ra một số khái niệm cơ bản, đánh giá thực trạng của việc tích hợp GDYT BVMT trong các môn LLCT tại trường ĐHSP Nghệ thuật TƯ, từ đó đưa ra một số giải pháp tích hợp GDYT BVMT trong giảng dạy các môn LLCT tại trường ĐHSP Nghệ thuật TW.
