Chi Amblovenatum J.P. Roux là một chi nhỏ thuộc họ Ráng thư dực - Thelypteridaceae. Trước đây, chi Amblovenatum có tên là Amphineuron (Holttum, 1971). Năm 2007, David Middleton đã đưa ra lập luận về từ đồng âm giữa chi Amphineuron (Thelypteridaceae) với chi Amphineurion (Apocynaceae). Đến năm 2009, tên Amblovenatum đã được J.P. Roux sử dụng để thay thế cho tên Amphineuron vì tên này được coi là đồng âm với chi Amphineurion (A. DC.) Pichon (Apocynaceae). Chi Amblovenatum J.P. Roux có các đặc điểm nổi bật về dạng cây, lá, lá chét, thùy, giả lá chét, gân bên, ổ túi bào tử, màng bào tử, túi bào tử. Các loài thuộc chi Amblovenatum phân bố từ Đông Phi đến Polynesia
