Cellulose fibre is one of nature's most abundant raw materials, and Vietnam has a plentiful supply. Until recently, cellulose fibres were used in a wide variety of applications. This natural fibre's natural fibrous structure, good mechanical properties, biodegradability, and environmental friendliness are all important characteristics. This article investigates and assesses cellulose fibre application studies. Aside from common applications, cellulose fibres are used in a wide range of fields, including medicine, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and so on, all of which benefit from the cellulose nanofiber structure. This article discusses the applications and evaluation of the development potential of natural cellulose fibres in Vietnam. Vietnam is well suited to the development of raw materials with high and diverse cellulose fibre content due to its location in the tropics. As a result, the article evaluates the potential for future application development of cellulose fibre sources. This potential will help to increase cellulose fibre research and development in Vietnam toward the circular economy. This potential will assist Vietnam’s cellulose fibre research and application development toward a circular economy.Sợi cellulose là một nguồn nguyên liệu phổ biến nhất trong tự nhiên và dồi dào ở Việt Nam. Tính đến thời điểm hiện tại, sợi cellulose đã được sử dụng trong rất nhiều ứng dụng trong đời sống. Sợi cellulose có các đặc tính quan trọng như cấu trúc dạng sợi tự nhiên, cơ tính tốt, phân hủy sinh học và thân thiện với môi trường. Các nghiên cứu về ứng dụng của sợi cellulose được tổng quan và đánh giá trong trong bài viết này. Ngoài các ứng dụng thông thường, sợi cellulose với cấu trúc sợi nano cellulose còn được ứng dụng trong rất nhiều lĩnh vực như y học, dược phẩm, mỹ phẩm, xử lý chất thải và vv. Các ứng dụng và đánh giá tiềm năng phát triển của sợi cellulose tự nhiên của Việt Nam được được đề cập tới trong bài viết này. Việt Nam nằm ở vùng nhiệt đới tạo điều kiện thuận lợi cho sự phát triển các nguồn nguyên liệu có chứa hàm lượng sợi cellulose lớn và đa dạng. Bài viết đánh giá tiềm năng phát triển ứng dụng trong tương lai của nguồn sợi cellulose tại Việt Nam là rất lớn. Tiềm năng này sẽ góp phần vào việc định hướng nghiên cứu, phát triển ứng dụng của sợi cellulose theo hướng kinh tế tuần hoàn trong tương lai.
