In recent years, education for children with intellectual disabilities around the world has tended mainly towards inclusive education - letting children study in the same classroom with normally developing children. This is a goal of modern education. The article introduces some studies on language teaching for children with intellectual disabilities
describe the current situation of teaching materials of phonics and syllable for students with intellectual disabilities to integrate into grade 1 at some primary schools in Ho Chi Minh City and 4 Southern provinces. Thereby, the author aims to propose a plan to develop supporting materials for teaching phonics - syllable for these students.Những năm gần đây, giáo dục cho trẻ bị khuyết tật trí tuệ trên khắp thế giới đều có xu hướng chủ yếu tiến tới giáo dục hòa nhập – để cho trẻ học tập trong cùng một lớp với các trẻ phát triển bình thường. Đây là một mục tiêu của giáo dục hiện đại. Bài viết giới thiệu một số nghiên cứu về dạy học ngôn ngữ cho trẻ khuyết tật trí tuệ
