In organizing activities, the content of activities is the most important, it is reflected in specific programs and plans of activities. The content of trade union activities regulates the organizational apparatus and operation method of the trade union. Although the trade union's operation method depends on the operation content and organizational structure of the trade union, the trade union's method of operation also plays an increasingly important role in the activities of the trade union, it directly affects the trade union's activities in terms of the quality and performance. On the basis of content analysis, limitations on the content and activities of industrial unions, the article proposes a number of solutions to innovate the content and operation methods of trade unions in the current period.Trong tổ chức hoạt động, thì nội dung hoạt động là quan trọng nhất, nó thể hiện ở những chương trình, kế hoạch hoạt động cụ thể. Nội dung hoạt động công đoàn (CĐ) quy định tổ chức bộ máy và phương pháp hoạt động của tổ chức CĐ. Mặc dù phương pháp hoạt động của CĐ phụ thuộc vào nội dung hoạt động và vào bộ máy tổ chức của CĐ, nhưng phương pháp hoạt động CĐ cũng có vai trò ngày càng quan trọng trong hoạt động của tổ chức CĐ, nó ảnh hưởng trực tiếp đến chất lượng, hiệu quả hoạt động của tổ chức CĐ. Trên cơ sở phân tích nội dung, những hạn chế về nội dung và hoạt động CĐ ngành, bài viết đề xuất một số giải pháp đổi mới nội dung, phương pháp hoạt động của các Công đoàn ngành giai đoạn hiện nay.
