Công tác Dân vận là công tác quan trọng trong toàn bộ sự nghiệp cách mạng của Việt Nam. Đảng ta luôn xác định công tác dân vận có ý nghĩa chiến lược đối với sự nghiệp cách mạng của đất nước, làđiều kiện quan trọng bảo đảm sự lãnh đạo của Đảng. Chính vì vậy, để tiếp tục đổi mới, nâng cao hiệu quảcông tác dân vận, chú trọng công tác dân vận đối với đồng bào dân tộc thiểu số trong bối cảnh hiện naylà vấn đề hết sức quan trọng, góp phần ổn định chính trị, phát huy vai trò làm chủ của nhân dân. Điều nàyđược thể hiện rõ nét thông qua việc lấy ý kiến đóng góp của nhân dân trước khi xây dựng, ban hành cáccơ chế, chính sách về phát triển kinh tế-xã hội, tạo điều kiện thuận lợi để nhân dân được kiểm tra, giám sátquá trình thực hiện của các cấp, các ngành. Thường xuyên tổ chức tiếp xúc, đối thoại để nắm bắt tâm tư,nguyện vọng của nhân dân. Bài biết khái quát vai trò người có uy tín trong công tác dân vận ở vùng đồngbào dân tộc thiểu số và miền núi, đồng thời bàn luận một số vấn đề đặt ra hiện nay và biện pháp phát huyvai trò của đội ngũ người có uy tín trong công tác dân vận trong thời gian tới.Mass mobilization plays an important part in the whole Vietnamese revolution. Communist party of Viet Nam always confirm that mass mobilization is of strategic meaning in national revolutioncause, being an important condition to ensure the leadership of Party. Therefore, in order to continue toinnovate and improve the effectiveness of mass mobilization affairs, focusing on mass mobilization forethnic minorities in the current context is a very important issue, contributing to the stability of the politics,promoting the mastery role of the people. This is clearly shown through collecting opinions from thepeople before formulating and promulgating mechanisms and policies on socio-economic development,creating favorable conditions for the people to be controlled, inspected and supervised the implementationprocess of all levels and branches. Regularly organize contact and dialogue to capture people’s thoughtsand aspirations. This article summarizes the role of reputable people in mass mobilization for ethnicminority and mountainous area
at same time, discussing some current issues and measures to promote therole of reputable people in mass mobilization in the next time.
