Hoạt động nghiên cứu khoa học (NCKH) đã và đang thu hút nhiều sự quan tâm của người học. Tuy nhiên người học vẫn gặp nhiều khó khăn trong quá trình tiến hành NCKH. Hai bảng khảo sát đã được tiến hành trực tuyến trên hai nhóm đối tượng gồm 206 sinh viên (SV) năm thứ nhất, năm thứ hai Khoa Sư phạm tiếng Anh chưa tham gia học phần Tư duy Sáng tạo và Khởi nghiệp (TDSTKN) và 113 SV năm thứ nhất, năm thứ hai hệ Chất lượng cao theo Thông tư 23 đã hoàn thành học phần TDSTKN để làm rõ mối quan hệ và tác động của các nội dung trong môn học TDSTKN tới hoạt động NCKH trong SV. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy học phần Tư duy Sáng tạo và Khởi nghiệp với phương pháp Tư duy thiết kế đã góp phần lớn cung cấp các kỹ năng cần thiết hỗ trợ người học giải quyết những khó khăn trong tư duy đồng thời tạo cơ hội thực hành trải nghiệm cho người học để từ đó khắc phục những khó khăn người học đang gặp phải trong quá trình thực hiện NCKH.Recently, scientific research has attracted a lot of attention from university students. However, they still have a lot of difficulties in conducting research projects. In the present study, two sets of survey questionnaire were conducted online with 206 students who have not yet participated in the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mindset course in Faculty of English language teacher education and with 113 language students who have completed the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mindset course with the purpose of comparing and contrasting the level of difficulty the two target groups of student encountered when conducting research. Besides, the study aims at clarifying the effectiveness of the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mindset course on the research activity to students. The results show that the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Mindset course with Design Thinking method has significantly contributed to solving the difficulties students meet when doing scientific research
