In this study, the composite materials were synthesized by mixed ferromagnetic particles MnFe2O4 and biochar from coffee husk with the ratio 1:2.5 (g:g). The obtained products were studied to find down the best technology in columnar adsorption progress by studying the flow (2 ÷ 4 ml/min), adsorbent material mass (1 ÷ 3 g) and the initial concentration of Cr(VI) and Ni(II). The columnar adsorption model results shows that the adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) on the adsorption column is higher than that of Ni(II). Thus, when simultaneously adsorbed both Cr(VI) and Ni(II) on the columnar adsorption model, there was a competition between Cr(VI) in the form of anion and Ni2+ cation. Besides, the adsorption capacity of Cr(VI) and Ni(II) of composite materials under columnar adsorption condition was lower than that of static adsorption. This loss is due to the influence of the flow rate, the influence of the adsorbent column height.
