Nghiên cứu lễ hội truyền thống dân tộc thiểu số đã được nhiều cơ quan, tổ chức và cá nhân quan tâm nghiên cứu tại các viện nghiên cứu, trường đại học và địa phương… Tuy nhiên, nghiên cứu lễ hội truyền thống dân tộc thiểu số gắn với phát triển du lịch phục vụ nghiên cứu, giảng dạy tại Học viện Dân tộc thì đến nay chưa có công trình nào được nghiên cứu. Đây là vấn đề cần được quan tâm nghiên cứu góp phần bổ sung những tri thức lý luận và thực tiễn về lễ hội truyền thống dân tộc thiểu số gắn với phát triển du lịch. Vấn đề này được coi là thế mạnh và tiềm năng của ngành công tác dân tộc cũng như cơ hội bảo tồn, phát huy các giá trị văn hóa truyền thống kết hợp với xu hướng phát triển hiện nay nhằm tạo ra những giá trị mới phù hợp với đời sống xã hội đương đại và nắm bắt thời cơ tạo ra sinh kế mới, bền vững đó là phát triển du lịch dựa vào cộng đồng.Research on traditional festivals of ethnic minorities has been studied by many agencies, organizations and individuals at research institutes, universities and localities… However, research on traditional festivals of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development for research and teaching at Vietnam Academy for Ethnic Minorities has not yet had studied by any research work. This is an issue that needs to be researched, contributing to supplementing theoretical and practical knowledge about ethnic minority traditional festivals associated with tourism development. This issue is considered as the strength and potential of the ethnic minority affairs as well as an opportunity to preserve and promote traditional cultural values in combination with current development trends to create new values suitable for contemporary social life and seize the opportunity to create a new and sustainable livelihood that is community-based tourism development.
