Thời gian qua đi đã phủ lấp những giá trị của quá khứ, những thông điệp của tiền nhân cũng bị thất truyền. Văn minh Đông Sơn cũng chứa nhiều bí ẩn mà chưa có nhưng lời giải đáp thỏa đáng. Bài nghiên cứu đưa ra một số giả thiết giải mã cho văn minh Đông Sơn, cụ thể là trống đồng Đông Sơn. Bài nghiên cứu đề cập tới những ý nghĩa của các vòng họa tiết, ngôi sao ở trung tâm trống và đặt ra giả thiết mới về trống đồng Đông Sơn, đây là công cụ quan sát bóng nắng thay đổi theo chuyển động biểu kiến của mặt trời để xác định không gian, thời gian và lịch pháp.Time has veiled and obscured most of the values of our past, leaving a historical and cultural heritage that is incomplete and diﬃcult to decipher and understand. Dongson Civilization leaves behind many mysteries that historians and researchers in modern time keep questioning but could not yet ﬁnd satisfactory answers. The scope of this research encompasses several theories which attempt to explain various existences found in the remnants of Dongson Civilization and most speciﬁcally in the remaining samples of Dongson Bronze Drum – one of thre monumental representatives of age. The research covers the discovery of meanings engraved on the overall decorations
the symbol of star at the center of the drum face
and the various theories on the development, functional and spiritual roles of the Dongson Bronze Drum including possible spatial navigation, chronographical and horological functions.
