Environmental culture is a system of knowledge summarized by people in the history of human existence and development, creating a system of values. Environmental culture education is the process of sharing and transferring knowledge and life skills in a purposeful manner to protect the natural, artiﬁcial and social environment that aﬀects the quality of life and human development. Environmental culture education is the education of the core elements that make up the environmental culture: a sense of respect and the protection of environmental products

institutional system for the environment.Một vấn đề có tính toàn cầu bắt buộc sự quan tâm của các quốc gia, đó là bảo vệ môi trường. Văn hóa môi trường là hệ thống tri thức do con người đúc kết trong diễn trình lịch sử tồn tại và phát triển của con người, tạo nên hệ thống các giá trị. Giáo dục văn hóa môi trường là quá trình chia sẻ, chuyển giao kiến thức, kĩ năng sống một cách có mục đích của con người nhằm bảo vệ môi trường tự nhiên, nhân tạo và cả môi trường xã hội ảnh hưởng đến chất lượng sống và sự phát triển của con người. Giáo dục văn hóa môi trường là giáo dục các thành tố cốt lõi tạo nên văn hóa môi trường: ý thức tôn trọng và hành vi bảo vệ các sản phẩm của môi trường
